A Bit of Burton for the Pandas

WAY back in April we decided to do a Tim Burton themed photo shoot with three of our 2016 CE-Senior Models.  While Burton movies are classically dark – we had a glorious sunny day (really, really sunny) so we made work!  We took a bit of Edward Scissorhands, blended with a dash of Beetlejuice, and some of our own fun thrown in (including the BEST vintage umbrella found at the Brass Armadillo) to create this look.  We tried to combine a few macabre qualities mixed with just enough comedy to give the classic Tim Burton feel.   Izzy, McKinley and Cerise were awesome enough to help out and let this shoot come to life! We might have gotten a few sideways glances as we traipsed through the streets of Downtown Denver looking like this:

We also decided that this year, each of our styled shoots would be targeted to a specific charity that we want to highlight (and each of our models will choose a charity for a portion of  each referral’s session fee to be donated to).  For the Burton shoot – thinking black and white – we are highlighting Pandas International. “The mission of Pandas International, a nonprofit organization, is to ensure the preservation and propagation of the endangered Giant Panda.  Pandas International provides public awareness and education, support for research, habitat preservation and enhancement, and assistance to Giant Panda Centers”.  You can find out more by clicking the logo below!
