Denver Senior Portraits- Katherine

Denver Senior Portraits | Katherine |Dakota Ridge High School

What an absolute pleasure is has been getting to spend so much time with the beautiful Katherine.  This Dakota Ridge High School senior, and 2015 Senior Model Intern, has impressed me to no end with her dedication, determination, and force of will!  While I loved her mini model session, I think Katherine’s true personality exploded for her full Denver senior portraits.

Katherine packed up her life in Oklahoma to move to Denver, leaving family and friends behind, to pursue her ice skating dream. That takes courage far beyond her youth and passion that speaks volumes.  When Katherine isn’t on the ice, you might find her volunteering.  She has worked with catholic charities and animal shelters in Tulsa, worked with the American Heart Association, and with tornado clean up crews in Oklahoma. We love having her kind and fun personality at photo shoots. Her LoDo and Parker sessions gave us the perfect mix of country girl and awesome urban.  I love that she is also a photographer with an interest in marine biology – the marine biology geek in me is smiling!
